Where are you from? And how old are you?
I’m of an Asian descent (or more specifically, Taiwanese) and I’m 18 (soon to be 19 oh god I feel like life is just flying by).
Firstly, your blog is totally gorgeous! I love the collection of art that you've reblogged/posted. :) Are you an artist too? Secondly, I'd like to let you know that naming lists "masterposts" may come across as insensitive. Someone did a list for English-speaking Tumblr artists; however, a lot of artists were hurt that they were excluded and some didn't want to be included. Just a thought; I know you haven't called them "masterposts" so far. That said, thank you for exposing artists to us! ♥
Awsh, thank you darling. Erm, I’m not an art student or a freelance artist or an artist who went through professional art schooling and such. But I do make art (I like to paint acrylics, do line-art/illustrate, work with ink or oil pastels) in my spare time. So depends on what you define as “artist” :D
And yes, I absolutely get what you mean about “masterpost”. That why I didn’t want to call them masterpost since I know I didn’t include everyone nor all the ones I’ve found.
This is more a message to everyone: Seeing that I need to prioritize my life right now, I’ve stopped posting any lists of artists. However, may I point everyone to the wonderful tag: artists on tumblr to discover more artists… on tumblr :D

NEVER. THERE IS NEVER FUN IN STUDYING ;) oh well, it’s fun jamming out to music and trying to solve integrals. I’ve also been re-watching Pirates of the Caribbean while doing math. It actually keeps me sort-of on task. Or maybe I’m just delusional. At least I’m doing math homework now (instead of practically just cramming before each quiz or exam).
But it’s quite alright when it’s just a nice little thank you message. Thank you darling, this definitely boosted up my motivation to study.

So I didn’t notice it but my inbox is now filled to the brim with messages I never responded since the beginning of the month. Thus, I will commence replying to ALL of them now. Then I’ll get back to posting art.
Also, I have gotten sick… AND… been trying to cut back my internet time. Anyways, just some issues about this blog and life (well, mainly about how my grades are falling and how I am not happy with this blog):

At least you are doing something about it. Many people on Tumblr just say “lol I’m failing at school” and talk about how they “don’t care, they’ve got tumblr”, but you’re resolving to do something and that’s amazing in itself.
And oh gosh thank you for this message, I’m TRYING with some success. I’ve been studying a lot more and posting less than before but it’s still a struggle. Man, I sound like an addict. But that bad grade was such a huge shock to me, I’m really stressed now and I constantly worry about whether or not I will do well this semester. I try not to think too much and well… I’m trying my best :D

I love your blog so much! I feel like you consistently post illustrations I can relate to and learn from. Other art blogs post whatever they feel like, or whatever they find, but your blog has a consistent theme and feeling while still being diverse.
This reply touched me, because, I do have a certain style of art I like… not necessarily style but more like, theme or mood or atmosphere. And I’m really glad someone noticed that and followed me for that. Really want to thank you for this wonderful message.
